Curious Investor Research is a personal research library on Indian banking, payments, mutual funds and capital markets — written by Manu Jha, an ex-banker and financial consultant.

The premise is simple: India's regulators publish extraordinary data — RBI's bank-wise card statistics, NPCI's UPI numbers, SEBI's market data, AMFI's fund flows — and almost nobody reads it closely. This site is what happens when somebody does.

How the research is built

• Primary data first. Every analysis links to the dataset it's built on.
• Three formats. Long-form reports, interactive dashboards, and short investment notes.
• Everything is connected. Each piece links to related research, analyses on the same dataset, and the next and previous pieces in its category.
